Once again, the True Sons M.C. picked the nicest two days of a rainy April week to hold their annual Harley's & Hot Rod's show!
Rally at the Strip - English Mountain Dragway - June 2009
The view from the campground overlooked the drive-thru bar.
On Friday mud was monstrous and some were beginning to lose hope.
...but on Saturday the sun was warm and everything dried up.
The bikes (and Bikers) were blessed and the party was underway!
The event grounds were very spread out. There was plenty of room, which was good because everybody was there. It was set up intending for people to scoot around on their bikes, including into the bar! They also had ample shuttles around the facilities, which is rare.
This was basically the walk from the bar back around the starting line of the strip and then on toward the stage mid-way down the other side. It was choppers forever, as they say!
Does this look cool or what?

Full Moon Saturday Night
The beer girls were delightful and anxious to entertain. They really earned their tips. All the bands were really GREAT!
But the electrifying GENEVA
rocked on into the late hours and BLEW THE HOUSE DOWN!
The party ended at the drive-thru bar with a burnout fest.
This was actually the intention!  Inside the bar!
Things got a little wild, so I put the camera away.
This is the Track Owner and our host, Glen just before the end of the rally. If he looks hosed, it's because running an event of this magnitude is a survival and endurance feat.
We of the Tenn. COC thank Glen and EVERYBODY that helped put this show on.  This was a well planned and well executed  program You gave us the run of the facilities and treated us like ROYALTY! We can't wait to see the improvements planned and what's in store for the next time.  IT WAS A RIOT!
